Chemistry is a natural science which studies matter. The alchemists are considered to be the first chemists. They tried to create the elixir of life and manage to transform iron ore into gold. Modern chemistry mainly works with molecules, compounds, reactions that occur between matters, and exchanges of energy that happen during these reactions. Another purpose of that newest science is to determine the laws which may describe the processes and phenomena in chemical reactions. It may assist to create the required substances synthetically. To execute the chemical experiments, that is necessary to be good in physics and biology.

Chemistry has got the huge amount of different subdivisions.

Organic chemistry is named organic due to it was thought that organic compounds had something to do with life. It was a wrong thought. As it turned out, a lot of organic components are not related to any living objects of life processes. Some inorganic components as cooper or iron, for example, play the main part in the in the reactions of living objects.

Organic chemistry deals primarily with chemical combinations that are made of carbon and hydrogen. That science studies their construction, properties, composition and reactions. Organic combinations are commonly utilized in a variety of goods, including plastics, foods, drugs, etc.

Analytical chemistry is a subdivision of chemistry which attempts to determine the laws of reactions that take place in combinations of organic and inorganic matters. It describes the geometric properties of atoms that assists to understand the processes better. It researches the elements given, their combination and properties. Analytical and physical chemistry are very similar, due to they research the similar processes but take some various information from them. The scientists who work in this sphere give much for the saving of natural resources and the safety of the environment.
